Wet Your Hair Thoroughly Use warm (not hot) water to open the hair cuticles and allow better cleansing. Dispense the Shampoo Squeeze a small amount (about the size of a quarter for medium-length hair) into your palm. Adjust the amount based on hair length and thickness. Lather in Your Hands First Rub your hands together to create a light lather before applying it to your scalp. Apply to Scalp and Hair Roots Massage gently with your fingertips (not nails) in circular motions. Focus on the scalp, where oils and dirt accumulate. Rinse Thoroughly Use lukewarm water to rinse out all the shampoo. Make sure there’s no residue left behind, especially near the roots. Repeat if Needed
If your hair was very dirty or had a lot of product buildup, you can shampoo a second time. The first wash lifts the grime, and the second deeply cleanses.
